- Confirm the diameter and connection type with pipes: Flange, Thread, Weld.
- Confirm actuated method: Handle, Electric, electromagnetism, Pneumatic, or hydraulic, etc.
- On the basis of working condition to confirm the materials of valve body and parts: Cast Iron, Forged Iron, Ductile Iron, Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel or Brass..
- Choose the types of valve: shut off valve, control valve, safety valve.
- Confirm the valve structure: Gate valve, Globe valve, Ball valve, Butterfly valve, Throttle valve, Safety valve, Stem Trap, etc. Confirm the specification: face to face, Flange connection, the dimensions when opening or closing. The numbers of threads.
- Based on above data to select a suitable valve.
